All of our coaches have extensive experience playing and teaching the game. Many of us have collegiate coaching experience at the Division I level. Each Fever team, youth or high school, is assigned one head coach and up to two assistant coaches to guide them throughout the season. We currently have coaches from Dartmouth College, University of North Carolina, Loyola College, Virginia Tech, University of Louisville, Duke, University of Rochester, and Campbell University on staff.
With so many talented alums and connections to great lacrosse programs in our area, Fever is proud to work with position coaches who help our players in specific areas of the game – goalies, draw work, attack, defense. Position coaches do not travel with the teams but attend practices and work with all players – youth through high school.
In addition to our stable of head, assistant and position coaches, Fever enjoys the help of flex coaches every summer. Typically, these flex coaches are current college players (most all of whom are Fever alumnae) who are assigned to work with a particular age group rather than one particular team. These flex coaches help to run all stations at each practice and occasionally travel with teams to tournaments.
