June 13 @ 6-7:30 // Duke Sports Med Panel

Date: Tuesday, June 13th

Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Location: Stedman Center Auditorium in the Duke Center for Living Campus (3475 Erwin Road, Durham, NC 27705)

Parking: There are many open parking locations within the vicinity of the Steadman Center. Once parked, look for signs in the Stedman Center directing you to the auditorium for the presentation.

On Tuesday, June 13th, Tyler Cope, ATC, DPT,  Sports Physical Therapist from Duke Sports Medicine will be offering Fever families a presentation, followed by a Q & A at the Stedman Center Auditorium from 6-7:30 PM.  The presentation will address: Common Training Errors, Lacrosse-specific Injuries, and General Prevention & Rehab.  Tyler will address how best to engage medical staff such as athletic trainers (ATC), reporting injury and working towards coordinated recovery. It is designed to be highly interactive with lots of Q & A! Given the issues surrounding concussion, ACL (knee) injury, and overuse injuries, this is an event we are offering to help dispel myths and arm you (and your daughters!) with critical information for this season– and beyond.
